It Could Have Been Worse

No matter what my sister said, I didn’t hate everyone.

No, I simply hated idiots, and sadly, at the moment, I was surrounded by them.

Yes, I was surrounded by a herd of ten year old idiots as they ran around with cupcakes in one hand and candy in the other.

And that wasn’t even the worst thing of this whole ordeal.

No, the worst thing was that there was a clown.

A clown.

And so, as I was forced to babysit my younger sister’s birthday party at freaking McDonald’s, a clown danced around in the background.

There were balloon animals (most of which I murdered with my trusty pocket knife), songs (to which I purposefully accidentally sang the wrong lyrics to), and cupcakes (which I hoarded all for myself).

And as the creepy clown with the white face and red smile was packing up, he seemed to feel my glare as I watched his every move. And so, when he turned around and saw me leaning against the wall as I cleaned my nails with my pocket knife (I do not recommend), he hastily threw everything in his bags and hightailed it out of there.

All in all, it could have been worse.
